This is the group shot of Field Defence Squadron (FDS) Platoon Bravo taken at the rundown Building 1 at Paya Lebar Airbase temporary FIBUA training ground on a freaking Sunday morning where we were supposed to be booking out instead!!! Nevertheless, we all had fun shooting blanks and throwing thunderflashes(CounterStrike: Real life minus the bullets) Those were the days...i still miss army life a lot and the many friends i have made over there (save for a few...) This photo along with a few others are the only tangible memories i've had during my stint at PLAB. Come to think of it, it's almost a year since our ORD but memories are still freshly etched in my mind. This only goes to show how much i "enjoyed" the rigours of army life and as fate would have decided, i'm not blessed to wear the greens of SAF... pity really cos' i believe i have unmatched enthusiasm to embark on this less troden path and the camaraderie and bond shared between fellow soldiers is something words can't explain and never fails to stoke the flames of duty towards my country... I feel i have matured much throughout my NSF days and it's only fair i give something back to others...Such is my conviction that i think what i've just said above will serve as the perfect propaganda tool for aspiring soldiers-to-be... MINDEF are you looking at this? hahahaha
